Jamie Gleason-Bremer

Jamie Gleason-Bremer, Ph.D., brings over 10 years of experience in the life sciences industry. Using her scientific expertise, Jamie drafts and prosecutes U.S. and international patent applications and advises on global filing strategies for innovations spanning small molecules, biologics, and antibody-drug conjugates. She also conducts patentability analyses, freedom-to-operate assessments, and IP due diligence, and works closely with inventors and R&D teams to develop patent portfolios supporting her pharmaceutical and life sciences clients’ business objectives.
Jamie earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. Her graduate research in the lab of Professor Matthew Francis focused on the design and characterization of innovative biopolymer materials for surfactant replacement and advanced drug delivery systems. She led highly collaborative, interdisciplinary projects with industry and academic partners, including efforts to develop a protein-based delivery platform for aggressive brain cancers.
Outside of work, Jamie is an avid reader and enjoys exploring the San Diego Zoo, Safari Park, and neighborhood parks with her family whenever she can. She also loves cooking and spends much of her time wrangling her three cats. Along with her son, they keep her highly entertained and occasionally humbled.
